It was no doubt that [Surname] [Name] was a stubborn person. Iwaizumi knew it, Oikawa knew it, they both knew it from the moment they introduced themselves to you. You had a mind of a rock and a heart made out of steel. You didn't need help from anyone! You were strong ― you could do this by yourself! You didn't need help or assistance from other people. You didn't need anyone to help you guide your way to success because you knew that you could do it by yourself. You've always wondered why so many people were so dependent on each other ― the way they would cling themselves to others as if their life depended on them. It would always irritate [Name]. There are so many things you could accomplish by yourself, [Name] would say to themselves, do it. Don't falter. Do it. But sometimes, just sometimes, people like [Name] needed help, too. They hated it, but they knew it was true.
"You alright, [Surname]?"
[Name] bit their lip as they looked over at their bruised ankle. It was throbbing and pain, and you knew all too well that you couldn't get up nor walk from your situation. Oikawa was standing besides Iwaizumi, a frown on his face and his eyes watery. Although, you weren't exactly sure why he was crying. It was you who was the injured one. Not him. But that's Oikawa, you supposed, Oikawa's always so emotional ― it doesn't take him long to sob out salty tears. You then looked up at Iwaizumi, and then nodded your head confidently. You were fine.
"Yeah," You grumbled. "It's fine ― nothing serious."
"Y-You shouldn't push yourself so hard, [Name]-chan..!" Says you, Oikawa. "You're already hurt!"
What a hypocrite.
"It's fine," You reassured, giving him a smile. It was a small smile, but it was enough. "I'm fine."
Iwaizumi crouched down to your level and looked at you intensely ― it was a bit scary ― but hey, this was Iwaizumi we were talking about. He always has that serious look on his face twenty-four-seven. Blush started to risen up on your cheeks; this was embarrassing. To look vulnerable and helpless in front of your friends. Your best friends. You shouldn't be like this. If it weren't from that damned ice―!! You gritted your teeth and slowly and cautiously, you tried to help yourself back up only for you to drop on your bottom again, letting out a disgruntled and painful groan come out from your lips. Oikawa cringed. You were injured ― and it was all his fault.
"You can't even stand up," Iwaizumi scolds. "You're not okay."
"I'm fine." You repeated, albeit with more volume in your voice this time. "I'm fine. I can handle myself."
"You're so damned stubborn; you're worse than Oikawa," He sighs. "Get on my back."
"What?"
"I said," Iwaizumi's voice sounds irritated and angry ― come to think of it, that's what he always sounds like so I guess there's not much of a difference. "Get. On. My. Back. Or else I'll have to force you," And just then, Iwaizumi faces his back to you and waits for you to hop on. Fuck. He was being serious. You gulped and looked at Oikawa, then at Iwaizumi's back, then back at Oikawa. You weren't a mind reader ― you never were ― but by the look of Oikawa's eyes, it seemed like he was pleading for you to get on his back. He's worried, you knew that, but you're a stubborn girl and you didn't need anyone to help you.
Though.. For today, you could make an exception.

akaashi pls [akaashi keiji x reader]
For first time, Akaashi was aimlessly scrolling through his news feed on Instagram as he was doing homework. Honestly, he didn't even know why he made an account. Oh, wait—he remembers: you and Bokuto badgered him into making one. Apparently, everyone had one. The only people he followed (and people who followed him) were his teammates, players from other schools, and worst of all, you. You posted something everyday and it was always random, captioned with a quote from people you both knew (Bokuto) or dad jokes. Your sense of humor really was something else.
Akaashi was no good when it came to technology. Teaching him h

Oikawa distinctly remembered a girl in the back corner of his class every year in middle school. Perhaps it was insensitive of him, but he never remembered her name. Her head was always down, and she was always drawing. Her marks were never extraordinary, this he was sure of. She wasn’t one of those students who were repeatedly placing in the top 5 for class rankings.
If anything, she was rather dull.
He sat on the opposite end of the room from her, so there was never an opportunity to interact. There was just never an excuse to talk.
How surprised
