“what are you going to do now?”
you take deep breaths; breathe in, and breathe out, and then faced him with a crooked smile. oikawa's heart tightens as he watches you with his sienna eyes. tears start falling down from your cheeks, but you didn't bother wiping them away. you clutched the manila folder between your fingers as your grin grows wider and wider, and each time you smile, oikawa's organs ties itself into knots. he knows what you were going to do―you've told him about your plans so many times in junior high and in high school, and it never left his head. but still, he asks with his head faced on the ground. he knows what you were going to say.
“i― i'm going to move to tokyo.” you say, and oikawa doesn't say anything. you continued, finally wiping away your tears with the back of your hand. “i'll move to tokyo and continue my study in medicine. i'll work twice as harder, and i'll promise that i'll make everyone proud. you, iwaizumi, my parents, everyone. i'll become a doctor. it'll take a while and some roads will be bumpy―but i think i can make it.” you sighed deepily as you looked over the folder. inside this folder was your acceptance letter to enter tokyo university. a smile unconsciously graces upon your lips. “yeah. i think i'll make it.”
“you will. i know you can.” oikawa slowly lifts up his head and looks at you again. you were so, so, beautiful with your pearly white smile and your bright aura radiating around you. oikawa puts his hands on your shoulders, a small smile on his face. “i'm so proud of you, [name]. i'm so, so, proud of you. you've worked so hard to get this far―and it's finally coming true. all those plans you told me.. they're all coming true. your goal is in the tip of your fingers. just stretch further and you'll get there. i believe in you.”
“i couldn't have done it without you,” you laughed, tears rolling down your cheeks again.
oikawa places a hand on your cheek and rubs the tears with his thumb. the smile is still on his face. “when are you leaving?”
“i don't know. in two weeks, maybe?”
his eyes widens a bit and he let goes of your face. “two weeks?” he looks at your eyes for a moment―he's looking for something, but he's not really sure what he's looking for. regret. or perhaps it was hesitation. but there was none. all there was in your eyes were stars and the gleaming light of hope. oikawa's small smile turns into a frown. “two weeks? isn't that a little bit early? maybe―maybe you should think about this more thoroughly.”
“don't be silly, tooru, i still need the time to adjust my lifestyle in tokyo. get a new job and all that. make new friends and be familiar with the city. that'll take a long time, so that means i need to leave as quickly as i can.” oikawa, again, was oddly being mute so you cleared your throat. he blinked and looked at you. he's not sure what to feel. he's happy for you, he really is. he's proud of you. but he wasn't.. wasn't ready to let you go. all these years, oikawa has been clinging to your fingers, hoping that you wouldn't let go of him. but as each day passes by, his grip grows weaker and weaker and you're moving further away from him.
he doesn't like it.
“you should tell your parents.” he whispers. “congratulations. again. i'm proud of you.”
you nodded your head slowly, but before you disappear from his sight, you smiled at him and leaned in to kiss his forehead. he think that it would be the last kiss. he thinks that that'll be the last time you'll ever smile and kiss him. oikawa tries his best to look at you straight in the eye even though the walls were breaking down inside of him. he doesn't want to let you go. not yet.
“thank you,” you smiled. “for everything.”
and with that last smile of yours, you finally turn around to leave.

Can't Help Falling...[Tsukishima Kei x Reader 5/5]
To say that he didn’t want to kiss you again would have been a lie, like a major lie. Because Tsukishima really wanted to kiss you.
He had to hand it to you though, when you sat so close to him and kept biting on the tip of your pen like that…you were just hard to resist. Especially after what had happened the other night.
That was one week ago, and he failed to purge you—and that kiss—out of his mind, not that he wanted to, though. But when he couldn’t focus on mundane tasks or get his homework done, it became a problem.

Gods usually cannot die of natural means; they can't die of old age, no illness that was known and unknown to man can even so much as touch them. A god got ran over by a truck? It'll hurt them like hell, but they'll just pick themselves up, and walk it off.

Lionheart | 1 | Oikawa Tooru
The sun beams shone through the branches of the frigid trees, and the cold winter air was enough to make Aobajousai’s captain give a slight shiver. Early morning practices were very common. The team needed to always be at top condition in order to destroy their opponents. As long as Oikawa was around, the team would remain in top shape. Beside him, Iwaizumi, or more affectionately known as “Iwa-chan” strode, his hands behind his head in a lax posture as he walked. They had been walking in a comfortable silence for a little while. They might quarrel, but they had a deep type of understand with each other. Even when silent, th
