Literature Text

vivacious;

(adj.) attractively lively and animated.

“Ah~! Mademoiselle[*1] [Surname], it truly is a wonderful honor to have a little conversation with you in this love cafe,” Tsukiyama says dramatically—too dramatically, much to the girl's annoyance. She picked up the mug and took a sip of her own coffee and ignored—or at least, tried to, as he continued talking to himself.

“I didn't ask you to come and sit with me,” [Name] grumbles.

“Well, I couldn't just leave a lonely dame to sit by herself in this beautiful, sunny day, now could I?” he says, the smile—that sickening, sadistic, smile plastered on his face that many girls swooned at. Ugh, [Name] truly hated him. His hair, his face, his voice; she basically hated the every fiber of his being.

“I'm not a lonely dame,” she corrects him, scoffing as she did so. “And in fact, I was just enjoying my time here whilst I read my book and have a cup of coffee until you came. Honestly, why must you always interrupt my fun-time?” [Name] then adds, taking another sip of her coffee and then placing it back on the table. “Seeing you at the university was already enough.[*2] I don't need you popping up every ten minutes in my life. Don't you have anything better to do?”

“Well, now that Rize is somewhere in a better place—I've no one to talk to.” [Name] mentally rolls her eyes as those words came out of his mouth. Lies. They were nothing but lies. It's true that Tsukiyama and Rize used to always be together, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't have anyone to talk to now. “But luckily, I've still got you as my friend. Aren't you glad, [Name]? To finally have some alone time with me?”

“Not in the least.”

“You wound me greatly.”

“You are revolting.

“Ah, ah, ah,” the purple-haired ghoul stops her from getting up from seat by grabbing her right wrist, and she no choice but to halt and look at him with a mildly irritated expression on her [s/c] face. “Why don't we have.. dinner at my house, hmm? Of course, we'd have to get the ingredients to make our own food first.. But, as an apology, I would like to take you out on a dinner. Only us.” [*3] he says, the tight grip on her wrist finally loosens as [Name] managed to yank his hand away.

“You're oddly persuasive.” [Name] states.

“Only for you,” he smiles and then winks. She wasn't sure whether he was teasing her or not—the guy was just too god damn unpredictable. She doesn't know how to deal with him. And she sometimes wonders, in brief moments, at how Rize was able to handle a guy like him. “So, what do you say?”

She stops and thinks for a moment, and then sighing as she finally responds to his offer, “I suppose a fancy dinner wouldn't be so bad.” After all—she was hungry. She wasn't able to eat in two weeks (Which was odd because she would normally eat once every month), and she wasn't definitely going to pass this proposal.

Tsukiyama smiles towards her, feeling rather satisfied of himself.

He was infuriating for sure,

but damn, did he know how to live vivaciously.
im writing a fanfic for a fucking trash burn me

[*1] = Mademoiselle (literally means "My little lady") is a way to signify/call unmarried women. basically, reader-chan is still single. but hey, she's still 20. what could you possibly expect?

[*2] = tsukiyama and reader-chan go to the same college/university--which is the haruna gakuin university. though, both are majoring different subjects.

[*3] = basically, tsukiyama and reader-chan are going on a killing spree to have a fancy dinner. obviously, tsukiyama is going to prepare the food and since he is so picky about his food, both will have to kill certain types of people.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

im sorry i fucked up tsukiyama's character but im lazy haha
